The objective of this project is to create an image of a boundary which naturally blends into the context, however, not in the form of a conventional “gate”, but through a set of pillars which, as a group, will be perceived as a sort of penetrable membrane. The existing entrance is a long monotonous path which generates a somewhat authoritarian perspective towards the main building. As a means to disperse the attention from the building to the gardens on either sides and to create a subtile sense of border upon the site, nine spear-shaped pillars are place in an arc form, while retaining a uniform level.
